OPEN TOURNAMENTS

All open tournaments held in Scotland must be licensed by the SBA, and regulations governing such tournaments are contained in our Year Book. An open tournament is any tournament; open to members out with your club. A fee is payable for each open tournament that you run during the year. The license fees for 2008 are as follows:-

1)Total prize money in cash and/or kind not in excess of £300. Male or or mixed events £5.

2) Total prize money in cash and or/ kind in excess of £300.Male or mixed events) = 5% of total prize money.

Notices advertising open events should clearly indicate that the event is "Licensed by the Scottish Bowling Association". 
Failure to comply with open tournament regulations will be dealt with severely.
